Huawei's Pura 70 series has surged in popularity, with a 125% year-over-year increase in shipments compared to the P60 range, demonstrating strong market performance.
Year-Over-Year Growth
According to a Huawei insider, the number of Pura 70 series shipments jumped 125% year-over-year compared to P60. The main series appears to be doing well with Chinese consumers. Its goal of 10 million units shipped might be within reach soon.
Per Huawei Central, the shipment volume of the Huawei Pura 70 series soared by 125%YoY compared to the P60 lineup announced last year, according to SINA Technology on Weibo, as of July 16.
Kuo's Prediction
The data is consistent with what Kuo had predicted for the Pura 70 range. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, these models are projected to be sent in large quantities in the first half of this year. There would be a 100% year-over-year increase in shipments of 5G Kirin chips, he added, compared to P60.
It lends credence to an earlier rumor about the Huawei Pura 70 series arrival. Rumor has said that sales of the lineup are about to surpass 2 million units. The most recent feedback indicates approval, even if the company has not officially confirmed it.
Many experts anticipated the total shipping of Pura 70 models for this year following their launch. TechInsights reported that in the first five months after the Mate 60 Pro's release, Huawei sold more than 6.2 million handsets. Still, Pura's lineup could see a double of that number this year.
10 Million Units Goal
By 2024, we anticipate that the flagship Pura 70 models will have shipped over 10 million units. The new assortment, according to analysts, will keep the Mate 60 trend going and become a big deal for customers in the long run.
Standard, Pro, Pro+, and Ultra are the four variants offered by the Huawei Pura 70 series. Dual satellite connectivity (two-way SMS and calling) is available on the Pro+ and Ultra models of these phones. Incorporating a retractable lens into the Ultra gadget further improves the photography experience for users.
Kirin 5G chips, which are primarily 9000 series derivatives, power all four variants. Regardless, the Kirin 9010, which powers the Pura 70 Ultra, features performance-optimized cores. Each model also comes with a tri-lens system, the latest version of HarmonyOS, stunning colors, and more.
