Falls Church, VA , April 20, 2017 -- HubShout, LLC recently awarded its Spring 2017 scholarship to Benoit Lalande, a sophomore at California State University, Long Beach. In addition to pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, Lalande is an award-winning videographer specializing in sports and fashion advertising. He is the twelfth recipient of the HubShout Internet Marketing Scholarship.
Fluent in both French and English, the highly motivated student used his skills to launch his own video production business, which developed a fanbase of over 50,000 people. This past fall, Benoit won TravelCuts’ $5,000 Film Contest with his short film “Sama Sama.” Benoit’s long-term goal is to become a creative marketing director at a major tech, sports, or outdoors company. He also hopes to travel the world.
According to Chad Hill, HubShout’s CEO and Co-Founder, Lalande stood out from the application pool because of his remarkable achievements. “We’re proud and honored that Benoit has joined our list of scholarship winners. We have no doubt that he will accomplish his ambitious personal and career goals.” said Hill.
HubShout awards the $1,000 Digital Marketing Scholarship twice a year to deserving students who have achieved a minimum 3.0 GPA, completed at least one full year of post-secondary education, and demonstrated a passion for digital marketing.
The white label SEO agency intends to continue the scholarship program in order to encourage talented and hard-working young people to pursue careers in the online marketing field.
