Hyundai Motor Co. and IKEA Korea emphasized their commitment to sustainability in their joint space marketing exhibition, "Green For-rest," which will run until Sunday.
Each zone follows the concepts of "green garden," "beach picnic," and "your own space for comfortable work and relaxation." The exhibition, which showcases environmentally friendly Hyundai cars alongside IKEA's home furnishing ideas, is taking place in the outdoor garden of IKEA Korea's flagship store in Gwangmyeong, southwest of Seoul.
The display area is separated into three themed zones, dubbed the NEXO Zone, Kona EV Zone, and Ioniq 6 Zone, after several Hyundai models of environmentally friendly cars.
According to a Hyundai Motor representative, the collaboration's purpose was to provide people with the joy of sustainable outdoor activities through the combination of IKEA products and eco-friendly Hyundai vehicles.
Additionally, they mentioned that various collaboratively created content would be presented throughout the event. A lottery system will award free Blue Hands air conditioning filters and IKEA gift cards to visitors who post pictures of the green forest exhibition on social media.
Hyundai Motor has been partnering with other groups for environment-friendly goals. Such as with the marine conservation group Healthy Seas. After the two previous years' successes, Hyundai Motor and Healthy Seas have begun their third year of collaboration with a clean-up at Tossa de Mar, a severely polluted coastal area in Spain's Costa Brava.
Hyundai and Healthy Seas will expand their collaboration to a global level with the renewal of the collaboration. Together, the partners will fight marine pollution on all continents, support healthy marine ecosystems, and advance a circular economy as they work to create a more sustainable future. Four clean-ups and several educational activations are now on the partnership's calendar.
According to Michael Cole, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Europe. Their partnership plans in 2023 are even more ambitious, which include activations that will have a global effect, such as cleaning up waters on other continents and further driving a circular economy.
