Hyundai Motor Group revealed last weekend that it received the “Autotrader Best New Cars” awards for this year. Four of the brand’s vehicles have been selected for the award because of their advanced features and functions yet offering competitive prices.
US’ recognition for Hyundai cars
The Korea Times, the US-based online marketplace for car sales and purchases, announced the 12 best new cars for this year. The list of winners was made after analyzing car brands’ design, technology, performance, and customer satisfaction.
The result has been revealed, and Hyundai Motor Group shared that four of its vehicle models have been awarded at the Autotrader Best New Cars awards. The recognized car units include the Santa Fe sports utility vehicle, Kia’s K5 Sedan (Hyundai affiliate company), Kia’s Sorento SUV, and Hyundai’s independent brand Genesis’ GV80 SUV.
"This list of the 12 best new vehicles will make finding your next car easy and fun, covering a variety of different lifestyles -- the road trippers, the off-roaders, those with luxurious taste, and even those who want to help make the environment a little greener," executive editor of Autotrader, Brian Moody, said via press release.
In any case, also included in the top 12 are from other car brands, and these are Acura TLX, Chevrolet Tahoe, Ford Bronco Sport, Lexus IS, and Volvo XC40. Autotrader noted that Genesis’ GV80 could compete with the more pricey European car rivals, and its starting price is only $50,000.
Hyundai’s Santa Fe
The Korea Herald reported that Hyundai’s Santa Fe truly deserves the win because it has been praised for its built, technology, and more. It offers a variety of mechanisms that include hybrid and plug-in hybrid models. Its interiors are also remarkable.
“Hyundai continually listens to its consumers while working hard to improve our vehicles, and the refreshed 2021 Santa Fe reflects this commitment,” Olabisi Boyle, vice president of product planning and mobility strategy at Hyundai Motor North America, said in another press release.
He added, “It is very satisfying to receive top-tier media honors like Autotrader’s Best New Cars for 2021 award in recognition of Santa Fe’s product excellence.”
