UK fintech agency Innovate Finance has announced the launch of its East Coast FinTech programme in New York that aims to foster greater ties between the UK and US fintech communities.
According to the official release, the initiative will bring together key influencers to engage on issues like policy, regulation and investment, thus helping in the advancement of the global sector. The launch of East Coast FinTech programme will see keynote speech by Maria Gotsch, President and CEO of Partnership Fund for New York City at Museum of American Finance in NYC.
“The US East Coast plays a special role in the development of the global FinTech ecosystem and is a collaborative environment for our members and influencers. Innovate Finance aims to create a programme that can help the community grow on both sides of the Atlantic and to strengthen the key work we continue to do for our members in the US,” Lawrence Wintermeyer, CEO of Innovate Finance said.
Innovate Finance members who wish to grow their business and seek investment, find the US as an important market. The East Coast programme will help these members to meet and collaborate with the US FinTech community in New York and will also help to create vital connections that can help them grow.
Innovate Finance earlier launched a new Transatlantic Policy Working Group (TPWG) together with US fintech companies in a move to foster open, collaborative and inclusive dialogue with respect to fintech policy making in countries like the UK, US and others.
The company in collaboration with Innotribe, SWIFT’s innovation arm, recently launched the Global FinTech Hubs Federation (GFHF) to help promote innovation across the world’s financial services industry.
