Iran’s military leadership has reinforced its warning against the United States and Israel following a high-level meeting between senior armed forces officials and Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, according to a report published Sunday by the semi-official Fars News Agency.

The report stated that Ali Abdollahi, commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, met with Khamenei to discuss the operational readiness of Iran’s armed forces and ongoing regional security concerns. During the meeting, Abdollahi reportedly received “new guiding measures” aimed at advancing military operations and strengthening Iran’s response strategy against foreign adversaries.

Although the exact date of the meeting was not disclosed, the discussion comes amid growing tensions in the Middle East and increasing concerns over possible confrontation involving Iran, the United States, and Israel. Iranian officials have repeatedly emphasized the country’s preparedness to respond to external threats, particularly from what Tehran describes as “American-Zionist enemies.”

According to the Fars report, Abdollahi briefed Mojtaba Khamenei on the combat readiness and defensive capabilities of Iran’s military forces. He reportedly stressed that the armed forces are fully prepared to counter any hostile action targeting the country.

“The armed forces are ready to confront any action by the American-Zionist enemies,” Abdollahi was quoted as saying. He added that any mistake or aggressive move by opposing forces would trigger a “swift, severe, and decisive” response from Iran.

The Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters plays a critical role in coordinating Iran’s military operations and national defense strategy. The latest remarks are likely to heighten international attention on Iran’s military posture as geopolitical tensions continue to rise across the region.
