Italy’s construction output rises sequentially in November

Italy’s construction output on a seasonally adjusted basis grew sequentially in November. According to Istat, the seasonally adjusted index of production in construction rose 2 percent sequentially. In the September-November 2016 period, the index dropped 1.8 percent as compared to the earlier three months.

On calendar adjusted basis, the production in construction sector fell 2.3 percent year-on-year in November. In the January to November 2016 period, the percentage change of the index came in at -0.4 percent as compared to the same period in 2015.

The unadjusted index of construction output dropped 2.3 percent year-on-year in November. The average index of the January to November period was down 0.7 percent when compared with the same period in 2015, noted Istat.
