NEW YORK, Oct. 04, 2017 -- JLT Specialty USA, a U.S. subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc. (JLT), the world’s leading specialist advisor and broker, is pleased to announce the appointment of Karen Isaacs as Vice President, Human Resources.
Based in Philadelphia, Isaacs will oversee JLT’s U.S. retail, reinsurance, and wholesale operations which include over 650 employees operating in more than 30 locations. Within this role, Isaacs will lead the HR operations, the cultural strategy and serve as a member of the senior management team.
Her appointment is part of JLT’s rapid growth strategy and focus on aligning human resources to the strategic business initiatives.
Isaacs brings to JLT over 20 years of human resource experience. Previously, Isaacs worked as SVP of HR at Hamilton Insurance Group. She was responsible for creating and implementing an integrated global human resources agenda around culture and operations. Prior to this role, Isaacs served as Vice President, Strategic Human Resources for AIG where she was responsible for the Customer Operations human capital plan worldwide providing HR leadership to grow business operations service centers to create a roadmap for service excellence. Isaacs began her career at Gannett, Co., Inc.
