Samsung Heavy Industries Co. has received orders worth 266 billion won to build a liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier and an S-Max oil tanker.
The order for a 206 billion-won LNG carrier, slated to be delivered by July 2023, was from an Oceanian company.
The S-Maxs are 125,000 to 200,000-ton oil tankers that can pass through the Suez Canal with a full cargo.
Samsung Heavy bagged a total of 2.9 billion won in orders in November.
Last week, it inked a $2.5 billion deal with a European company to provide ship blocks and other equipment.
In mid-November, Samsung Heavy received a 195 billion-won order from Oceania to build three S-Max oil tankers set for delivery by January 2023.
The company has an annual order target of $8.4 billion.
