“Fifty Shades of Grey” star Jamie Dornan is the new face of Hugo Boss's new fragrance “BOSS The Scent.” The German luxury fashion house, known for its men's fragrance line as much as its fashion wear, has replaced Theo James with Dornan to represent their perfume in 2018.
“The Scent,” introduced back in 2015, is Hugo Boss' flagship fragrance line. Jamie Dornan will be joined by Dutch model Birgit Kos during the fashion scent's campaign.
Dornan and Hugo Boss' relationship is not new, with Dornan and the famous fashion house starting a relationship with the Hugo Menswear fashion line back in 2008.
While already a perfect match to Hugo Boss' image, Dornan was yet to land his breakout role of Christian Grey, which essentially made him one of the most desirable men of this age. It seems Dornan is now the perfect fit for the German perfume's centerpiece fragrance as the Irish actor was announced as 2017's “Sexiest Man” by Glamour. While Jamie Dornan lost the title to Tom Hardy in 2018, he still ranked second on the list for the same year.
In other relationship news, Dornan's partner in crime in the “Fifty Shades” series, Dakota Johnson, was spotted in a Radiohead concert in Boston with Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin.
While Johnson and Martin have already been seen in public in the past, not necessarily keeping their relationship secret, the couple is not publicly vocal. Dakota Johnson and Martin were even joined by "Breaking Bad" star Aaron Paul and his wife, Lauren Parsekian. While the couple's appearance was uneventful in itself, it is quite rare to see Johnson and Martin engaging in public displays of affection so close to fans like they did during the Radiohead concert.
For any fans of the former “Fifty Shades of Grey” couple, Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson have their hands full for the coming months with very exciting projects that fans would love to get behind this 2018.
