Fans are still looking forward to “Jeepers Creepers 4” despite waiting for years and no new information about it. It was said that the fourth movie sequel is going to be the last in the series, but this is not certain since people behind the film have not announced anything regarding the final installment.
In any case, “Jeepers Creepers 4” is already in development. Den of Geek reported in May 2017 that the film is in the works so filming would have been finished by now. The confirmation of the fourth sequel came four months ahead of the third film’s premiere. But then again, there is no word if the production has wrapped up by now, so its release date is also unclear.
Plot
Gina Philips is confirmed to return to reprise her role in “Jeepers Creepers 4” as Trish Jenner, and during her interview with Diabolique, she partly revealed what will happen in the movie. She divulged that there would be lots of flashbacks and these are needed to reveal the past events that lead to the consequences happening at the present time in the story. In other words, the flashbacks will show the connections of events in the past and present time.
“Victor has written what happens from the second after the conclusion of Jeepers Creepers 3. He wrote in such detail, and he had a lot of flashbacks to what happened over the years that it made it very easy for me,” Gina told the publication. “I got to see what will eventually happen to the character and he put enough flashbacks in there that I got to see what happened to her over the last 15 years.”
Cast
Aside from Phillips, Jonathan Breck (The Creeper), Brandon Smith (Sgt. Tubbs), Ray Wise ( Jack Taggart Sr.), Luke Edwards (Jack Taggart Jr.) and Mariah Delfino (Rhonda Truitt) are also coming back in “Jeepers Creepers 4,” as per OtakuKart. Victor Salva directs while American Zoetrope served as the film producer.
TV Series
Finally, it was revealed that there are plans to adapt “Jeepers Creepers” for TV broadcasting and reportedly, the story will be based on the unused scripts from the third film sequel. If true, it will present the original story of Trish going after the Creeper to keep her son safe.
