Despite separating in 2017, the narrative surrounding Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux split is still making headlines on the web. The resurfacing is thanks to the recent comments of Louis Theroux, Justin’s cousin.
While the British filmmaker remained mum about his opinion regarding Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s relationship, he recently broke his silence and was rather candid about it too. Louis recently sat down with Australian journalist Lisa Wilkinson and gave his two cents about the whole situation, Yahoo! Lifestyle reported.
“I think the main thing I thought was: ‘Oh, too bad. I guess he broke up with Heidi.’ I guess I just thought about that relationship ending.” Heidi Biven, of course, is Justin Theroux’s ex-wife whom he was with for the good part of 14 years before. The “Leftovers” cast then started dating Jennifer Aniston the same year that he parted ways with Biven.
While Louis was saddened about that part, he stated that Justin Theroux dating the “Friends” alum was “kind of cool” describing the 50-year-old as “great” and “nice” through their various interactions. Two years after the divorce was announced, Jennifer Aniston and “The Girl on the Train” actor remains amicable. Both stars aren’t in an official relationship as of this writing.
Justin Theroux has been linked to multiple women in the past years including Laura Harrier, Petra Collins, and Elizabeth Hurley, Inquistr reported. Jennifer Aniston, on the other hand, said she’s not actively trying to get back in the dating game but is “open” if someone comes along. The actress added that her work is currently fulfilling her right now, with her film “Murder Mystery” available on Netflix. She stars with Adam Sandler in the movie.
As for the possibility of Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux getting back together, that’s difficult to speculate even for Louis himself. When asked about playing matchmaker for the ex-couple, the Brit simply sidestepped the question and said through his experiences in documenting human behavior that he judges a relationship not by its length but by the happiness that it creates.
