A new clip for “John Wick: Chapter 3” has recently been dropped and it has now revealed Jerome Flynn’s role in the third entry of the franchise. The video starts with John (Keanu Reeves) and Sofia (Halle Berry) speaking to each other, with the latter emphasizing she doesn’t do field work anymore.
John said that he isn’t asking Sofia to take up her old profession, but to give him the location of her old boss, Berrada (Flynn). So far, nothing has been revealed about the character as the studio didn’t want to spoil what’s going to take place in “John Wick: Chapter 3,” Looper reported.
Now, it seems that Berrada will be on the side of the titular hitman. The “John Wick: Chapter 3” teaser clip showed John trying to convince Sofia that he means Berrada no harm and he merely wants “guidance” from the character. Of course, knowing John, this may be parlance for his desire to kill Berrada.
However, judging by the brief pause and facial expression he gave Sofia, it would seem that the hitman is indeed telling the truth. If so, John may be looking for a way out, something that would cancel the $14 million contract on his head. It’s safe to assume that Berrada may know something about Continental rules and the details surrounding the enigmatic hotel. Flynn’s addition to “John Wick: Chapter 3” has been the subject of excitement for fans as the actor proved quite the presence in “Game of Thrones.”
For the unaware, Flynn has been playing Bronn in the highly acclaimed fantasy saga since season one and has become a fan favorite throughout the years. Flynn’s dialogue has always been a source of comical relief in the series and his quips will likely be featured again in “John Wick: Chapter 3.” The third installment has been slated to hit theatres on May 15 with tickets now available for purchase.
