While Julia Roberts is certainly not the star she once was, releasing fewer movies over the years than she used to, it would appear that her appeal to the tabloid media is still strong. This is evidenced by the fake story that recently came out about how her husband is supposedly angry over her compliments to Tom Hanks. Not that it really needs to be said, but this is about as real as fairy dust.
It should be expected at this point, but anything coming out of the Globe should be treated with the utmost suspicion. Recently, the publication released a report about how Julia Roberts managed to upset her husband, Danny Moder for saying that the “Sully” star was “super hot,” Gossip Cop reports. The magazine even quoted a source that is most likely made up.
“Danny couldn’t believe she would say something like that at a time their marriage is in trouble. He’s getting sick of her putting on this girlish flirting act in public,” the supposed tipster reportedly said. “It’s embarrassing because a lot of people know that he’s struggling to keep their relationship alive.”
One of the most telling signs that this story was created solely for the purpose of stirring up fake drama is the fact that it left out the part where Julia Roberts talked about Tom Hanks’ wife. In the same speech, she was basically also talking about her own husband when read in the right context.
“I have been lucky enough to know her long enough to learn things that we have in common: devotion to our mothers, endless joy of our families, super hot husbands,” the actress said.
It’s obvious that this Julia Roberts story is nothing but hot garbage. It also makes it clear that anything coming out of the Globe should never be taken seriously and is most likely a lie.
