Jungkook has been a member of BTS for seven years now, and his fans did not forget about this. For his 7th anniversary with his group, his fans trended #7YearsWithJungkook, and this search word topped the social media trends worldwide.
Jungkook’s anniversary with BTS
As per Allkpop, when the said hashtag started trending at no. 1, it went on for the next four hours as fans all over the world post greetings and expressed their happiness for their idol’s achievements. Being with the BTS group alone is a big thing, and the fans are happy that Jungkook made it with his teammates and “hyungs” that include RM, Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, V, and Suga.
It was added that it was RM who officially introduced Jungkook as a member of BTS. The rapper and leader of the group posted a tweet seven years ago to tell their fans that Jungkook has joined the team. He made the introduction by posting his cover of “Like a Star” by J.Cole, on BTS’ official Twiter page.

In any case, aside from Jungkook’s name trending for his anniversary, it was also revealed that the 22-year-old idol singer was included in the top 50 in Japan’s Twitter. The record is an annual listing for celebrities who always trend, and JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong also made it to the ranking at no. 14 while Jungkook is at no. 46.
BTS album and Grammy appearance
Meanwhile, Jungkook and his BTS co-members recently made history when they performed on the stage at the 62nd Grammy Awards that was held in Los Angeles, California, last weekend. They collaborated with Lil Nas X, and many people gave a nice review of their stage.
Time Magazine reported that at the stage J-Hope, RM and Suga backed up Lil Nas X as they perform “Old Town Road.” The publication described the performance and appearance of BTS at the Grammy’s as “short but sweet.”
