Jungkook is confirmed super-rich after buying chips; Here’s the hilarious way he discovered he is very wealthy

Jungkook

Jungkook is undoubtedly one of the most popular South Korean idol singers today. He is part of the now world-famous BTS boy band but even within his group, he is one of the most well-known members.

With his fame, it is certain that Jungkook is also earning well as a top star in the music scene in and outside of South Korea. However, even with his status, he is ever so humble so people don’t have a clue about how rich he could be. He is also very young thus some might not believe that he has already achieved so much including a fat bank book.

Jungkook is also clueless about how rich he is

Now, with their busy schedules, it is possible that the members of BTS already lost track of how much money they are earning with their promotions. But one thing is sure, there have already accumulated seven-digit figures in US dollar.

There is a funny story as to how Jungkook discovered that he is very wealthy and it was when he was buying snacks at the vending machine! As shared by SBS News, there was a video that showed the youngest member of BTS trying to get snacks and in Korea, they can purchase items in the vending machine using credit cards.

Jungkook tried to pay for his chips but he struggled for a while. His card was always rejected and this baffled him. The staff who was with him stepped up and offered to pay using his own credit card and the transaction was completed which surprised the idol singer.

Hyundai's exclusive card for the wealthiest

When they examined his credit card, it turned out that the 22-year-old is using the “black card” from Hyundai. This is a type of credit card that has no limit and can only be availed through invitation. The vice president of Hyundai and seven board directors personally approve who can have it so it was known as the card that can only be owned by the super-rich individuals.

Those who are approved like Jungkook should have at least KRW100 billion savings and it has an annual membership fee of KRW2 million or around US$1,700 dollars. Plus, there is a minimum amount to spend so it seems that the chips that Jungkook was trying to buy using his card were too cheap that it got rejected.
