McDonald’s Singapore has launched a physical activation that uses technology and camera setup dubbed My Happy Table to help Singapore-based individuals “reunite” with their family in Malaysia.
Through My Happy Table, family members will be able to take breakfast together as though they are seated at the same table.
The technology is set up at physical McDonald’s locations in Singapore and Johor Bahru.
It features a full-sized hybrid table where family members from both Singapore and Malaysia can have their McDonald’s meal together.
My Happy Table will be opened for public usage from April 23-28.
The setup will be done within party rooms at the McDonald’s Canberra Plaza in Singapore and McDonald’s Taman Desa Tebrau in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
The activation could bridge the distance felt by many with the border closure between Singapore and Malaysia due to the pandemic.
