As the launch of Funko Fusion approaches, Funko is gradually unveiling new additions to the game’s roster. The latest confirmation is that KFC’s Colonel Sanders will join the lineup as a playable character, per CGMagazine.
On September 9, 10:10, Games, in partnership with KFC, Funko, and Universal Products & Experiences, announced that Colonel Sanders, the iconic KFC mascot and founder, will be featured in Funko Fusion. The character will be in various imaginative and unexpected settings, including locations inspired by Jurassic World and other Funko franchises. This means you can expect to see Colonel Sanders in different exciting and diverse settings, adding a new level of fun and excitement to the game.
As shown in the trailer, Colonel Sanders can change outfits in the game. He will have three skins:
- The classic white suit.
- A mecha variant.
- A chef hat-wearing variant that features a bucket-flavored mini-gun.
Exclusive Colonel Sanders Skins Available to U.S. KFC Rewards Members in Funko Fusion Launch
Players outside the United States may face limitations regarding the Mecha and Chef Colonel Sanders outfits. Starting September 13, these unique outfits will be available exclusively to KFC Rewards members in the US through the KFC app. To obtain these skins, fans must log in or sign up for KFC Rewards, navigate to the rewards section, and redeem the items. This process ensures that you are a part of the KFC Rewards community and adds a sense of commitment and anticipation as you wait for the unique code to enter on the Funko Fusion redemption website, which will also be available starting September 13.
