Even before Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx can even publicly address their relationship, there have been claims the couple started making arrangements to tie the knot. As much as fans would love to see another lovely 2018 wedding, a representative for the actress has already dismissed these stories.
Rumors of Holmes and Foxx dating have been a recurring story on the newsstands for, at least, the last five years. But the two have been spotted together more frequently in the past couple of months. They are apparently hoping to keep relationship matters as private as possible.
However, rare sightings of them together did not impede various tabloids from running stories about them preparing to get married. Foxx, according to Globe magazine’s source, was allegedly “insisting” that Holmes sign a prenuptial agreement.
The same tipster claimed that Foxx and Holmes are both looking forward to getting married. But the “Django Unchained” star was purportedly determined that no wedding bells will be in order until they sign the said agreement to protect his reported $100 million net worth.
Meanwhile, OK! Australia came up with a report claiming that Holmes had begun scouting for wedding venues and looking for wedding dresses. The same story added that the actress is planning to marry Foxx somewhere in Ireland.
It turns out that the report about looking for a wedding venue in Ireland stemmed from Holmes’s vacation in the country last July. Part of her itinerary was a visit to the Borris House in County Carlow, which is highly famous for being a wedding venue. So even though Foxx was not with her while touring Ireland, the said rumor still found its way to the readers.
Meanwhile, Gossip Cop reached out to Holmes’s representative, who subsequently denied both rumors. The same news outlet also shared snippets of Globe’s and OK! Australia’s sources but eventually concluded that Holmes and Foxx are not getting married anytime soon.
