Keith Urban is reportedly livid after learning that Russell Crowe has been talking about his wife Nicole Kidman in his interviews. It was claimed that the country singer cannot accept the 54-year-old’s praises intended for his wife and Tom Cruise’s ex.
According to Australia’s Woman’s Day, Keith Urban is furious because Russell Crowe appears to be infatuated with Nicole Kidman. The singer may have gotten the idea when the actor said in one interview, “I waited a long time to be married to Nicole.”
Apparently, the actor was referring to his role as Nicole Kidman’s husband in their upcoming movie titled “Boy Erased” that is set to be released on Nov. 2. It was a joke, of course, but Woman’s Day alleged that such comments are not welcome since they don’t sit well with Keith Urban.
The report supposedly came after a tipster told the magazine, “Keith Urban is feeling uneasy about seeing another man drooling over his wife. He’s a mellow, patient guy and he’s happy for Nic and Russell to be friends, but some of the comments Russell’s been making have been way over the top.”
The insider also added, “In Keith’s mind there’s a line that can be crossed and he’d appreciate it if Russell toned things down a notch or two.”
In any case, Gossip Cop stepped in and claimed that the WD report is false. The publication pointed out that the story was based only on tips coming from anonymous sources who cannot be traced. In other words, there is a possibility that the so-called “insider” is made up in the first place.
Moreover, Gossip Cop reached out to Keith Urban’s representative and it confirmed their suspicions that the report is not true. The rep stated that it was a “nonsense report” that should not be believed.
