The award winning manufacturer of professional A/V and Control Systems introduce the KD-2x1CSK(2.2), and KD-4x1CSK(2.2) a 2x1 and 4x1 UHD/4K HDMI Switcher with HDCP 2.2. These switchers remove the extra connectivity options seen in other step-up products in order to offer a cost-effective product that does not sacrifice the Full Buffer Technology that makes Key Digital products reliable. The KD-2x1CSK(2.2) switches between two HDMI sources to one HDMI display while the KD-4x1CSK(2.2) switches between four HDMI sources to one HDMI display, while maintaining a brilliant pristine picture and high-quality sound, up to UHD 4K/60, without signal degradation. Both of these HDMI switcher were engineered for all digital video/audio switching applications, and support all SD, HD, VESA, and 4K video standards including 4096 x 2160, 1080p60, 1920 x 1200, and 3D.

The KD-2x1CSK(2.2) and KD-4x1CSK(2.2) switchers feature two easy options for control on either the front panel push buttons, or optical IR switching. They feature status monitoring LEDs, and support for advanced HDMI features to include 3D and UHD/4K.
Both of these simple switchers are an ideal solution to add into any smaller business setting or residential video zones with sound bars. Offering the latest in Ultra HD and 4K at an extremely reasonable price, these switchers are a go-to choice for integrators and installers.
“What separates Key Digital at this price point is the EDID control. This is something we offer on all of our hardware and some extenders and baluns as well. With EDID, the devices act as the authentication point for the connected source. The source wants to know ‘what is the handshake, what is the video and audio format to output, and is this HDCP compliant?’ especially in the residential side where we’re concerned about that compliancy. All Key Digital devices have HDCP licensing inside and we provide the authentication for the EDID. With Key Digital products One Key is all you need for plug-and-play functionality. Our products are going to work every time at an unbelievable price point even for 4K switching needs” said Jonathon Ferry, National Training Manager for Key Digital.
With EDID Control there is a built-in internal library with 15 EDID handshakes in addition to native EDID data of output/display one. The full buffer system manages TMDS re-clocking / signal re-generation, HDCP source & display authentication, Hot Plug Management and EDID Control handshake. Supported lossless compressed digital audio formats include Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby Atmos.
