Aubrey Drake Graham, more commonly known as the musician Drake, recently released a new single that may be feeding into his and Kanye West's already heated rivalry. The song, “In My Feelings,” includes lyric references to a person named Kiki, a known nickname for Kanye West's wife, Kim Kardashian West.
Rumors have recently been spreading that Drake's song is insinuating that a physically intimate encounter happened between him and Kim Kardashian. This is coupled with speculation that the supposed tryst sparked the long-running feud between Drake and Kanye West. According to rumors, Drake was using the song to indirectly tell the public about a secret “hookup” between him and Kardashian. Fans on Twitter have also been speculating on the veracity of the rumors based on the distance between Kanye West and Drake's houses.
In a report by CNN, Kim Kardashian has denied speculation on social media that she is the Kiki whom Drake's song references. The Shade Room posted a video of Kim Kardashian's former boyfriend Nick Cannon and DJ Akademiks discussing the ongoing feud between Drake, Kanye West, and Pusha T.
One of the talking points raised during the video was a potentially physical relationship between Drake and Kim Kardashian. Kim Kardashian confirmed that she is not the Kiki being referenced in Drake's song through a comment on The Shade Room's post. Kim Kardashian's comment simply stated that the relationship never happened and that it was the end of the story. Drake and Kanye West have made no official public comment on the issue.
The rumor couldn't have come at a worse time considering that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are also currently battling rumors that Kanye West's slavery comments may also be negatively affecting their marriage. Kim Kardashian has already publicly stated that she and Kanye West have already smoothened out the aftermath of Kanye West's slavery comments.
West has also already provided a public apology for the controversial statement. There are no public records that confirm a divorce between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
