MONTEBELLO, N.Y, Nov. 03, 2017 -- Sterling National Bank (NYSE:STL) today announced that Kurt Fuoti has joined the bank as Managing Director and Senior Vice President in its Paramus, New Jersey office. Fuoti will be a key member of the New Jersey Commercial Banking team, led by Robert Koar, Senior Vice President and Senior Managing Director at Sterling. Fuoti will be responsible for business development, establishing new client relationships and expanding existing business by leveraging Sterling’s single-point-of-contact approach.

Fuoti was most recently Senior Vice President and Senior Lender at Fulton Bank of New Jersey, where he developed the Northern New Jersey Middle Market Commercial & Industrial Lending group. Prior, Fuoti served a fifteen plus year tenure with TD/Commerce Bank, including a leadership role as Senior Vice President and Team Leader of the Central New Jersey Middle Market Lending Group.
