These days, companies manufacturing and selling television sets use such buzzwords as 4K, HDR, and super dynamic color to catch the eye of consumers. With so many electronic brands selling all of the same-sounding products, it was only natural that each would try to find a way to make its products stand out. In the case of LG, creating 4K TVs that come with Nano Cells seems to be their attempt at doing so.
Unveiling its 2017 Super UHD TVs lineup, LG is showing off three models that are capable of 4K viewing no matter where the viewer is sitting, Engadget reports. The screens are made of what’s called Nano Cell LCD, which feature color particles that have better uniformity. This results in clearer, sharper images and shades even if the viewer is sitting off-center.
The company is also expected to form a partnership with Technicolor in order to apply Technicolor Expert Mode on the LG SJ8000, SJ8500, and SJ9500 TV sets, as well as Advanced HDR. If HDR is good, the Advanced version should be even better, right?
In any case, the simple fact that LG wants customers to understand is that it has the absolute best in picture-perfect quality when it comes to media that have 4K and HDR capabilities. These apply to movies, video games, and of course, YouTube videos.
Now, as for the aspect that customers are likely to care about most, there has been no word on how much these TVs are going to cost. As Ubergizmo points out, however, being loaded with the most technologically advanced features for viewing experience is going to make all three TV units extremely expensive.
For those interested in seeing the units in action, LG is expected to showcase them during the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. This should be an event worth looking forward to.
