KEMP, Texas, May 07, 2018 -- Industrial lighting leader, Larson Electronics LLC, has released a 20-watt chemical resistant acetylene leak level warning light and horn system complete with an audible horn alarm, green OK sign and red Acetylene leak sign. This LED warning light is designed to notify operators of an acetylene leak in hazardous locations and is approved for wet locations and marine environments.
The HAL-TL-2X10W-C-ACET-PA is a powerful and effective acetylene leak alert/signal system with two LED illuminated signs and an audible explosion proof horn. This indicator lighting solution features a green LED lamp which illuminates an “OK” sign to indicate no leaks are present, and a red LED lamp illuminates an “ACETLYENE LEAK” sign to notify workers that a leak has occurred. When the red leak sign turns on a warning horn automatically sounds to notify works of the situation. The horn reaches a peak output of 110dBA which can be heard over loud industrial operations. This system works in conjunction with operator provided leak sensor equipment.
The light housing is waterproof and corrosion and chemical resistant, with Pyrex globes and polycarbonate globe guards. This LED light carries a UL and CSA certification, USCG acceptance, UL approval for wet locations in any orientation, UL595 approval for marine environments, and NEMA 4X compliance for hose down areas. This LED acetylene leak warning system is available in 120V-240V AC, or a 24V DC configuration for low voltage operation.
“Operators looking for a visual/audio notification system to notify workers of acetylene leaks in industrial and marine applications will appreciate this warning system,” said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics LLC. “A two-sign visual notification makes it easy to verify acetylene leak status, and the explosion proof horn ensures operators are aware of a status change immediately after it occurs, even over the noise of busy industrial machines.”
