KEMP, Texas, April 14, 2018 -- Industrial lighting leader, Larson Electronics LLC, released a non-fused explosion proof disconnect switch for Class I Division 2 and Class II Division 1 and 2 environments. This 30-amp rated disconnect switch is compatible with 240V AC and features a padlocking rotary handle for the security of internal components.
The HLSW-NFDS-SS-30A-EBC from Larson Electronics is a Class I, Division 2, Class I Zone 1 and Class II Division 1 and 2 explosion proof disconnect switch, which provides operators in hazardous environments a safe and reliable way to manage electrical circuits and power. This disconnect switch is non-fused and rated at 30 amps with 240 volts AC compatibility. This switch features an early break auxiliary contact that protects the connected equipment, as well as a rotary handle that users can padlock to keep internal components secure.
The HLSW-NFDS-SS-30A-EBC is ruggedly built to handle harsh conditions and is constructed of 316L stainless steel. Compared to other metals, this stainless steel keeps the unit lightweight, but very resistant to corrosion. This explosion proof disconnect switch is IP66 rated with a NEMA 3, 4 and 4X enclosure. The unit can be wall or surface mounted, and requires operator provided hubs for electrical connection entry, and is ideal for petroleum refineries, chemical plants, paint spray booths, food manufacturing and other agricultural sites.
