KEMP, Texas, March 29, 2018 -- Leader in industrial lighting, Larson Electronics LLC, released a solar powered LED light tower system that features two 265-watt solar panels providing 350-amp hours of usable battery per day on each charge, a telescoping 5-stage light tower with 360-degree boom that deploys two 50-watt LEDs up to 30 feet and two 12V batteries. The entire assembly is mounted on a single axle aluminum trailer for easy transportation, making this light tower ideal for remote and rugged locations.
The SPLT-.53K-LM30-2XWP500-TLR7 from Larson Electronics is a portable, solar powered LED light tower. This powerful lighting system is equipped with two 265-watt solar panels, two 50-watt LED fixtures and two 12V 250aH 8D batteries. The solar panels have a 45-degree tilt for optimized sunlight exposure and provide 350-amp hours of runtime on a single charge with 5.5 hours of maximum sunlight. The LED units operate on 12 volts stepped up to 120V and provides 10,000 lumens of white light with a standard color temperature rating of 5,000K.
Rounding out this complete lighting solution is a solar charger control box, integral cooling fans and a sturdy NEMA 3R junction box. The telescoping light mast is a 5-stage aluminum alloy unit that extends up to 30 feet and is retractable to 13.5 feet via a manual crank system, for applications that require a smaller footprint. All components are mounted on a single-axle trailer equipped with 3,500 lbs. axle and leaf springs with 15" trailer tires. A standard 2" ball coupling, two standard safety chains, and 7-pin flat trailer plug allow for easy hookup and towing.
“The SPLT-.53K-LM30-2XWP500-TLR7 solar powered light tower is ideal for outdoor uses,” said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics LLC. “It has everything you need to light up large for surveillance, live events and concerts, or law enforcement and military operations.”
