KEMP, Texas, March 23, 2018 -- Larson Electronics, longtime leading supplier of commercial and industrial grade lighting solutions, has announced the release of a new 150 watt high bay LED light fixture. This unit produces 22,500 lumens of white light and operates on 100-4277V AC. This cold forged LED fixture is ideal for outdoor lighting, wet locations, commercial spaces, offices, medical centers and many other general lighting applications.
The Larson Electronics GAU-HB-30L-LED-WP-WCM provides operators with a powerful and energy efficient alternative to traditional and bulky, high maintenance cost fixtures. LED technology allows this high bay fixture to provide 22,500 lumens of high quality light while only consuming 150 watts, and an excellent 50,000+ hour rated lifespan with a CRI of 80. The circular fixture produces a 90º beam angle with color temperature options of 3000K, 4000K, 5000K or 5700K. Additionally, this particular unit was made using cold forging technique, which helps to enhance thermal resistance lamp features.
The GAU-HB-30L-LED-WP-WCM high bay light fixture is IP65 rated, suitable for outdoor and humid industrial environments where high quality elevated lighting is required. At just 5.24 pounds, the lightweight and compact body is constructed of aluminum that is corrosion-resistant and provides excellent durability, as well as resistance to vibration and impact. This high bay fixture can be hook, bracket and pipe mounted.
“A cold foraged lamp will always have a few additional benefits then a hot foraged lamp,” said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics LLC. “Cold foraging is a process that deforms the metal while it is below its recrystallization point and requires little to no finishing work. This makes a fixture less expensive to produce and less susceptible to contamination, resulting in a more durable unit.”
