“Law & Order: SVU” season 20 episode 5 is titled “Accredo” and it will follow the plot in episode 4. The previous episode's title was “Revenge” and it did not fit in because there was no scene in the Oct. 11th telecast where this applies.
As One Chicago Center notes, it is confusing because it is not clear where the idea of revenge came from in the fourth episode. It suggested that there could be another real story behind the title but what it is has yet to be revealed in “Law & Order: SVU” season 20 episode 5. At any rate, Callie Thorne has returned via this episode and resumed her portrayal of the defense attorney named Nikki Staines.
Another thing to look forward to in the next telecast is how Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and her team of detective agents will deal with the robbery case that turned out to be a complicated issue. The deeper they dig, the more secrets and mystery are revealed. Could they solve this violent crime spree?
Moreover, TV Guide shared that there will be a new murder case in “Law & Order: SVU” season 20 episode 5. For clearer details, check out its synopsis below:
“A member of a women’s empowerment group is found murdered, leading the cops to the group’s charismatic male leader. Meanwhile, Rollins (Kelli Giddish) keeps her pregnancy under wraps to avoid going on desk duty.”
“Law & Order: SVU” season 20 also stars Ice T (Fin Tutuola) and Peter Scanavino (Detective Dominick Carisi, Jr.) as the leads and they are supported by Sara Carter (Lilah Finch), America Olivo (Claudia Bell), Lexi Lapp (Vicky Parson), Sebastian Roche (Arlo Beck) and Lili Simmons (Gina Goodrich). Dylan Walsh will be seen in the season for a recurring role as John Conway.
“Law & Order: SVU” season 20 episode 5 airs on Oct. 18 at 10 p.m.
