Law and Order: Special Victims Unit just keeps getting better and better as they returned with a new episode last January 6 entitled "Catfishing Teacher". It was an episode full of controversies, twists, and turn which made the wait all worth it for the avid viewers.
Now with its second episode coming up, many fans are as excited than ever to watch for more action and drama. And with the production team releasing a teaser trailer for the next episode, I bet all the fans out there are full of anticipation for what's coming next.
If you haven’t watched the video, feel free to click the play button below. (Spoilers are coming your way so beware.)
As seen in the video, Lieutenant Olivia Benson's (played by Mariska Hargitay) life will be put to danger as she will be held at gunpoint in the hands of bad people. The scene started with her knocking on a door with an intent to stop a home invasion, but all her plans started to wash away when an unforeseen event took place.
"Law & Order: SVU" showrunner Warren Leight hinted about the episode in her interview with The Hollywood Reporter saying that "It's pretty rough going all the way through. It almost feels like it takes place in real time at gunpoint in the middle of a home invasion so it has a different clock to it." She also added that, "Benson, a little stressed, steps into a hellish nightmare, drops her guard for a nanosecond and there goes, possibly, her life."
Knowing that Benson is a now a parent to a two-year old kid really makes a difference on how she will handle situations. She may have been into many dangerous situations before but having a child waiting for you to come home will certainly make her job more difficult.
Watch out how Benson handles this situation and solve this dilemma as NBC airs "Townhouse Incident" on January 13 at 8pm central.
