Fans want Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye to team up again for “Heirs 2,” and they are calling for this due to the former co-stars’ undeniable chemistry on-screen. However, there are people who said that the actors’ chemistry was not just for acting, but they alleged that the two secretly dated as well.
As their expression of love for one another was truly realistic in “Heirs,” fans start to wonder if they are really in a relationship because it is hard to express real love when acting. Have the two brought their on-screen romance outside of the set and dated without people knowing?
Min Ho and Shin Hye dating rumors
In January 2014, a Chinese media released a report that Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye have been dating in secret for two months already. The allegations came just three months after the release of their “Heirs” drama. The reports were immediately denied, and the actors’ respective agencies have responded on their behalf.
"Of course it's not true,” the actress’ agency rep said in a statement. “There's no basis to the story. We don't know why that article was published in China. We're taking measures through our Chinese agency."
The agencies explained that there is no evidence that the Min Ho and Shin Hye are romantically-involved. They added that they could not reach the sources who supposedly provided the story, so there is no real basis for coverage even if a number of local publications already reported about the pair’s “dating.”
The truth
In reality, Lee Min Ho was pursuing Miss A’s Bae Suzy, and their relationship was revealed to the public in early 2015. The pair were caught by the paparazzi and photos of their dates were published in print and online.
It was amazing that even the couple’s dates overseas, in London to be precise, were also photographed. With the overwhelming evidence pointing to their romance, Min Ho and Suzy admitted their relationship through their agencies. As for Park Shin Hye, all her relationships were just rumors, but early this year, she went public with her boyfriend. Actor Choi Tae Joon is the only confirmed guy that she ever dated.
