Lately, it feels like everything has become political and even video games are not safe from the influence of Washington. This should prove obvious in “Life Is Strange 2 Episode 2,” as it did in the title’s first episode. Those who want to play the second episode of the game all the way to the fifth can get them via bundle.
As The Verge reports, “Life Is Strange 2” gets quite political in how its story and its characters are set up. The game harkens back to the 2016 presidential elections, which was one of the ugliest political events in US history. As everyone now knows, that contest ended with Donald Trump’s victory, and his presence can be felt all over the game. This will likely continue with “Life Is Strange 2 Episode 2.”
Throughout the first episode, for example, the main protagonists of the game are often called slurs and are reminded of how many Americans view them. As two Hispanic brothers, Sean and Daniel Diaz are bombarded with barrages of racism and bullying all through episode one while on their way to Mexico. “Life Is Strange 2 Episode 2” is expected to feature the same theme.
Players can see this for themselves when they get the Episodes 2-5 Bundle at Steam. However, fans will still need to wait for “Life Is Strange 2 Episode 2” to be released before they can play it. The same goes for all the other episodes counting up to the fifth.
Along with the racism and the hardships that the brothers will experience, however, “Life Is Strange 2 Episode 2” will also see the continuation of the supernatural events happening all around them. What’s more, the actions that Daniel takes will have a profound impact on Sean. This makes every decision made by the players excruciatingly important.
