The MacBook Air 2018 has been recently released and fans of its predecessor are thrilled that Apple outfitted the device with several needed enhancements. However, the improvements given on the subnotebook led it to cost so much more compared to its predecessor.
The price mark of the MacBook Air 2018 is $1,199 and end users are questioning whether or not the device is worth it. For instance, Apple has outfitted the product with a 2560x1600 native resolution that has been heavily suggested by end users. This is one of the factors that make the device appealing to users given that the display is crisp and naturally brings out the quality of the images of certain illustrations, Thurrott reported.
The company also gave the MacBook Air 2018 with an improved battery life that can last for 12 hours on a single charge, an improvement that will certainly resonate with buyers. On the upper right-hand side of the keypad, users can see the Touch ID fingerprint that provides additional functionality and security for the MacBook Air 2018. The security of the device has also been enhanced as Apple’s T2 chip has been placed on the product.
Looking under the hood of the MacBook Air 2018 is also another factor that is generating a lot of noise for the subnotebook. Apple has provided the improved device with a 16GB worth of RAM and a 1.5 TB storage, a far cry compared the product’s predecessor.
Of course, users will still have the last say whether or not they want to spend $1,199 on the MacBook Air 2018. While the device isn’t perfect compared to others on its category, it’s still a pretty reliable laptop at the end of the day. With the MacBook Air 2018’s light and portable feature paired with the abovementioned specifications, end users can enjoy a lot of things offered by Apple’s new lineup.
