Mars, Inc. is introducing a festive lineup for 2024, including Snickers Trees, Toasty Holiday Peanut M&M’s, and Mint Dove Chocolates, bringing new flavors and holiday-themed shapes to shelves. These treats offer consumers a fresh take on holiday indulgence and gifting this season.
From Humble Beginnings to Holiday Favorites: Mars Unveils New Snickers Trees for the Season
Mars, Incorporated has come a long way from its beginnings in Frank C. Mars' Tacoma, Washington kitchen in 1911, when it started as a small buttercream candy business. Over time, Mars has grown into a confectionery powerhouse with a broad range of beloved treats. It is now expanding further with the addition of Snickers Trees, just in time for the holiday season.
According to a recent press release (via Tasting Table), the Snickers Trees will feature the signature Snickers combination of caramel, smooth nougat, roasted peanuts, and milk chocolate reimagined in a festive fir tree shape. These Snickers Trees are the latest addition to Mars’ seasonal shapes lineup, designed as perfect holiday stocking stuffers or a sweet treat for any festive occasion. Beyond Snickers, Mars will also unveil two new products from M&M’s and Dove to enhance the seasonal celebration.
“Snickers Trees, along with new flavor innovations from M&M’s and Dove, are here to provide consumers with a variety of options for all of the seasonal celebrations and gifting moments ahead,” said Allison Miazga-Bedrick, Vice President of Seasonal Marketing at Mars Wrigley North America.
Mars Brings Back Holiday Favorites and Unveils New Toasty Peanut and Mint Chocolate Flavors
For those seeking classic holiday treats, Mars is bringing back fan-favorite stocking stuffers, including M&M’s Holiday Mint, M&M’s Milk & Peanut Red & Green, M&M’s Minis Red & Green, Dove Milk & Dark Chocolate, M&M’s Red & Green Megatubes, M&M’s Red & Green Canes, Life Savers Storybook, and Skittles Canes. Although last year’s M&M’s Toasty Vanilla didn’t return, Mars promises even bolder flavors this season.
This year, M&M’s is introducing a Toasty Holiday Peanut flavor, a blend of winter spices—cinnamon, vanilla, spiced sugar, and caramel—mixed with roasted peanuts to evoke the cozy ambiance of a ski lodge café. Meanwhile, Dove will offer a new Dark Chocolate Holiday Mint flavor. This rich combination of dark chocolate and creamy mint will give fans a wintery treat reminiscent of enjoying hot cocoa by the fire during a snowstorm.
