‘Mashle: Magic and Muscles’ chapter 14: Mash endures Silva’s 10 attacks

Mash will be finally be facing another opponent in “Mashle: Magic and Muscles” chapter 14. Due to the nature of their bet, Mash won’t be attacking Silva but will try to withstand the of the latter’s magical attacks in the upcoming manga installment.

‘Mashle: Magic and Muscles’ chapter 13 recap

The recent “Mashle” manga chapter, which can be read on Mangaplus, featured the continuation of the fight between Daut Barrett and the second-year student Silva. Previously, Barrett made a preemptive strike against his opponent but he was surprised how strong Silva actually was when the latter retaliated.

Barrett finally realized the huge difference in their power. But even with Mash present, Barrett thought that he won’t be of any help in his fight against Silva.

The Silva made an unexpected proposal. If Barrett is able to endure five of his magic attacks, Silva would leave the second-year female student alone. The older student even included a silver coin in his bet to sweeten the pot.

Even with the girl trying to convince Barrett to back down, he readily agreed to Silva’s deal thinking that the older student only specialized in defensive magic. He is also confident that his body is tough enough to handle the attacks of his opponent.

However, Silva said that Mash, whom he calls Mushroom, needs to take five hits head-on as well. When Barrett complained that Mash had nothing to do with their fight, Silva merely said it’s not his decision to make. In the end, Barrett decided to take the attacks meant for Mash as well, which means that he’ll have to endure ten attacks from Silva.

But Silva’s attacks were stronger than Barrett expected. By the end of the tenth strike, Barrett was knocked back to the ground barely able to move. He then signaled to Mash to escape while he still can and bring the second-year female student to safety.

But then the girl showed her true colors. “I know that you’re under my spell but no one should be that desperate,” she said.

Apparently, she was working with Silva the entire time and was only bringing potential victims to Silva using her charms. “What a loser,” the girl continued. “I really dislike hot bloodied wannabes like you.”

Silva was enjoying the show as well. “Dissed by the girl you sacrificed yourself to protect,” he told Barrett. “At least you gave us a good laugh. You’re the sorriest excuse for a man I’ve ever seen.”

But something unexpected happened. After saying those hurtful words, Silva was surprised to find that there was a piece in his mouth that kept him from saying hurtful things.

Then Mash made his intention clear. “You two have gone far enough,” he told Silva and the girl. “This time, I’ll take your ten-hit challenge.”

‘Mashle: Magic and Muscles’ chapter 14 speculations

It appears that the match between Mash and Silva previously predicted by Econotimes will finally happen in “Mashle” Magic and Muscles” chapter 14. This time, the question is whether Mash’ unusually strong body will be able to take Silva’s powerful attacks head-on.

Both Mash and Barrett initially did not like each other but that might soon change in “Mashle” chapter 14. Facing with a mutual enemy, they’ll likely bond, and Barrett might even join Mash’s small circle of friends.
