McDonald's UAE is bringing the beloved anime concept WcDonald's to life starting July 8. This limited-time experience includes manga-inspired packaging, episodic cartoons, and a special Savory Chili Sauce, delighting fans and capturing the spirit of anime culture.
McDonald's UAE Brings Anime-Inspired WcDonald's to Life with Manga Packaging and Special Sauce
For years, anime enthusiasts have incorporated McDonald's S-inspired "WcDonald's" restaurants into some of the most memorable anime films and programs. McDonald's is transitioning this concept from fiction to reality in partnership with prominent anime personalities. McDonald's UAE is introducing the WcDonald's universe to its restaurants and app in the UAE on July 8. This expansion includes manga-inspired packaging, episodic cartoons, and a special sauce, all designed to captivate the imagination and vision of its fans.

The Savory Chili McDonald's Sauce, available for a limited time, allows fans to stimulate their taste senses. The unique combination of ginger, garlic, and soy, with a hint of chili flakes, creates an energetic burst of flavor in every bite. According to The Filipino Times, this sauce complements an order of 9-piece "WcNuggets" (fan-favorite Chicken McNuggets) or any preferred menu item, reflecting the bold, dynamic spirit of beloved anime heroes. McDonald's UAE also offers Spicy Chicken McNuggets and a 20-piece McNuggets option for a limited time, providing an extra zing for those who desire it.
McDonald's has collaborated with renowned Japanese manga artist and illustrator Acky Bright to create custom WcDonald's packaging that immerses customers in the world of WcDonald's with each meal. Fans will receive manga-inspired packaging featuring characters from the WcDonald's Crew, illustrated by Acky. This offer is available for a limited time.

Studio Pierrot Produces WcDonald's Anime Shorts, Launching Exclusive Deals on McDonald's App
The first formal WcDonald's anime was produced by the legendary animation house Studio Pierrot, contributing to the revitalization of the series. Four episodic shorts will immerse fans in the flavorful world of WcDonald's, with a weekly narrative about the WcNuggets and WcDonald's Sauce.
A new short will be released on the McDonald's App every Monday from July 8 to July 29 in conjunction with the latest manga. After viewing each episode, the app will provide exclusive deals, such as 2x Rewards Points on all Spicy Chicken McNuggets orders, Large Fries for 5 AED, and two Chicken Burgers for 10 AED. The segments will celebrate action, fantasy, and other anime subgenres.
The Race to McDonald's (released on July 8): A rivalry that will endure the ages as two protagonists engage in an epic race to McDonald's.
Love from Across the Booth (released July 15): The protagonists discover that WcNuggets and McDonald's Sauce are not the only perfect pairing.
Operation: Safeguard the WcNuggets 3000 (released July 22): WcDonald's pilots must protect the last WcNugget from an ominous force.
Gone but Not Forgotten (releases July 29): Three women are transported to a remote location to solve the enigma surrounding the elusive sauce before it is irretrievably lost.
From July 8 to July 29, McDonald's UAE restaurants will offer a limited-time promotion featuring Savory Chili Sauce, Spicy Chicken McNuggets, and particular McDonald's packaging. Prepare for your taste buds to explore a new realm!
