McDonald's suspended operations of 38 out of its 245 branches across Hong Kong as the fifth wave of Covid-19 outbreak strains manpower and logistics.
Another 90 will branches will start closing earlier at 6 pm while 117 outlets will also shorten their operation hours.
Discount coupons for dinners can be used beginning at 5 pm.
The fast-food chain is just among eateries and shops that reduced operations in Hong Kong as numerous workers got infected during the fifth wave of the Covid-19 outbreak.
Pizza Hut started suspending operations of some outlets from March 4, while 14 outlets of noodle chain TamJai SamGor Mixian were closed on Tuesday, while some shifted to takeaway only.
