SUNNYVALE, Calif., April 03, 2018 -- Juniper Networks (NYSE:JNPR), an industry leader in automated, scalable and secure networks, today announced details of its participation in the 20th MPLS + SDN + NFV World Congress in Paris April 10 – 13 as a Diamond Sponsor. At the event, Juniper will advocate the need to minimize the complexity of modern networks in order to overcome the challenges of 5G/IoT-ready environments. To crystalize the message highlighting world-class engineering and innovation, Juniper will host five live demonstrations of its Contrail Networking, SD-WAN, Juniper Bots, Software-Defined Secure Networks and NorthStar Controller integration with AppFormix at Stand 102.
The Congress gathers more than 1,500 representatives from service providers and enterprises from 65 countries to discuss the evolution of MPLS, software-defined networking (SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV) as a means to drive efficient and effective networking. The overarching theme for the Congress is “Understanding the Software-Defined Wave.” It will address the growing adoption of automation tools and techniques within the networking industry and highlight the latest developments and deployments in the areas of Central Office Re-architected as a Datacenter (CORD)/Open Network Automation Platform (ONAP), Segment Routing and IPv6.
The debut AI Net Conference, co-located with this year’s Congress and focused on the rise of SDN, network analytics and artificial intelligence (AI), will feature Juniper speakers and experts magnifying the Self-Driving NetworkTM vision and the ongoing evolution of autonomous networks that can configure, monitor and maintain themselves, adapting to their operating environments with little or no human intervention.
