First lady Melania Trump will be making a case for her husband, Donald Trump, in this week’s Republican convention. However, Melania was reportedly caught on tape, making some unsavory comments about her husband and her stepdaughter Ivanka Trump.
The reported recordings of the comments came from Melania’s former aide and confidant Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, who will be publishing her own tell-all memoir offering another glimpse into the lives of the Trumps, most specifically the first lady. Wolkoff plans to reveal more of what happened during Trump’s inauguration back in 2017, as well as Melania’s reaction to the infamous Access Hollywood interview of her husband as well as her relationship with Ivanka.
Titled “Melania and Me: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship with The First Lady,” previews of the book have already been teased for the public. It will be out on bookstores by September 1. In the memoir, Wolkoff will also reveal more of Melania’s life with Donald as well as whether or not she is happy in their marriage. The actual message behind the first lady’s infamous “I don’t really care” jacket will also be revealed in the upcoming book.
Mrs. Trump and Wolkoff were friends for over 10 years, but their friendship soon soured following Wolkoff’s handling of the inauguration ceremony back in 2017. Wolkoff claims she was made a scapegoat by the first lady by her husband’s decisions as well as the decisions made by his aides. Hers is the latest of scathing tell-all books about the Trumps that will be hitting the shelves prior to the November elections. Donald Trump’s niece Mary Trump, previously revealed her own tell-all book, “Too Much and Never Enough,” and Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen will also be releasing a tell-all book of his own.
Meanwhile, the first lady celebrated the 100th Anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, granting women the right to vote. Monday’s event at the White House saw children as the attendees, and Melania along with her husband greeted them. However, Melania was seen sans face mask as she greeted the children and even hugged some of them, despite having previously stressed the importance of wearing face masks when in public to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
