First Lady Melania Trump is known for being very reserved and quiet to the public. However, her previous comments before she became First Lady seemed to say otherwise, including what happened during her wedding to Donald.
The First Lady’s previous interview with Dejour magazine has come to light once again, as reported by Express. In the interview, she revealed that she is not as quiet as people make her out to be. “I’m not shy. I know what I want, and I’m selective” said Melania.
Melania also recalled her wedding to her husband back in 2005 and among the guests were Bill and Hillary Clinton. When asked about what present did the Clintons give her and Donald, Melania responded that they did not give a gift and that there were some guests who showed up at their lavish nuptials emptyhanded. Why they chose not to give a wedding present was unclear, but for Melania to bring it up will definitely have people wondering.
She also recalled the time the late Michael Jackson suggested they pull a little trick on Donald. “Hey, when Trump comes back, let’s start kissing so he will be jealous!” recalled the First Lady. Melania revealed that they did not kiss, but they were having a good laugh about it.
Meanwhile, Melania’s citizenship was also placed in the spotlight. An attorney revealed that she received her green card through marriage in 2001, which was four years before they actually got married. More questions also surfaced, regarding Melania’s romantic history. While she claimed she was never married, even before she met Donald Trump back in 1998, the immigration attorney for Trump Organization Michael Wildes claims that Melania had been married before 2005.
However, a spokesperson for Donald Trump clarified the reports and said that Melania was indeed unmarried before she met and married Donald. They also explained that she got her green card through her own efforts. But the stories remain inconsistent, and it appears that there is a lot more to the story that is not being disclosed. This understandably leads everyone to wonder what the real story is behind her citizenship, but it seems that the White House has no plans on answering that anytime soon.
