Melania Trump’s anti-bullying campaign has been branded as brainless all because of her husband, Donald Trump.
In 2018, the FLOTUS formally launched her Be Best initiative, which is focused on advocating against cyberbullying and drug use.
Earlier this week, the first lady promoted her initiative during her visit to a school. While there, she said that she is very inspired by the children’s happiness class, which teaches them to start each day with mindfulness.
However, the FLOTUS was mocked for seemingly teaching young kids the importance of respect and kindness when her own husband has been dubbed as one of the biggest bullies on social media.
“Lol! Donald Trump cancels Michèle Obama's obesity program so that this brainless Melania Trump launches her "Be Best" for physical and mental health?” one Twitter user wrote.
“Give me a break. She has no “Be Best” initiative. She just knows how to buy clothes, and expensive ones at that,” another person said.
“What does she do on a daily basis in the States for bullying (her husband is the #1 offender) as part of her Be Best program? I’m waiting,” added another.
Meanwhile, the POTUS earned the reputation that he’s a bully because he regularly attacks people on Twitter. In fact, the president doesn’t care how young or old a person is.
Weeks ago, the president mocked 17-year-old activist Greta Thunberg after she was named as TIME magazine’s Person of the Year. The POTUS also regularly attacks his opponents, particularly Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Michelle Obama.
On Twitter, some netizens criticized Trump for being such a big bully.
“Tough guy, Donnie. Did your daddy tell you… ‘be a man Donnie.’ Is that why you bully women? Why don’t you eject the next heckler at your rally? Not so tough when the rubber hits the road. Oh ya, you got bone spurs and you hate germs,” Twitter user @TBrooksie said.
“Really, in this time of crisis and fear all you can do is blame, bully, and try to CYA. You’re just the lowest type of person,” Twitter user @JoanCat6 said.
