Melania Trump used to work as an international model before she married Donald Trump. During her modeling days, the FLOTUS posed naked for a slew of brands and publications.
In 2016, the first lady’s nude photos were leaked around the time of the elections and everyone started pointing fingers at who’s to blame for it. In the book “Free, Melania,” author Kate Bennett revealed that one of the theories was that it was the POTUS that leaked his own wife’s controversial photo during a bad week on his campaign.
“This time, the idea that Trump would throw his naked wife under the bus was almost so gross and salacious and the photos so B-movie bad, the press ultimately spent very little time discussing them,” she wrote.
Bennett added that Melania hasn’t commented on how she thinks her nude photos were leaked to the tabloids, but her friends claimed that the FLOTUS refuses to believe that her husband was to be blamed.
Another person in the FLOTUS’s radar was Roger Stone, a longtime ally and adviser to the POTUS. Stone wasn’t involved in Trump’s campaign after leaving his office in 2015, but the two men remained good friends.
Stone has also denied the allegations that he leaked the first lady’s nude photos to the tabloids, but Melania is reportedly not very convinced.
However, the FLOTUS’s spokesperson, Stephanie Grisham, threw shade at Bennett following her dubious accounts of Trump and Stone’s possible involvement in the leak.
“Mrs. Trump is surprised at Kate Bennett’s reporting. Our office worked with Kate in good faith in her book and thought she would do an honest job. Sadly, it includes many false details and opinions, showing Ms. Bennett spoke to many anonymous people who don’t know the first lady. It continues to be disappointing when people, especially journalists, write books with false information just to profit off the first family,” Grisham said.
At present, Melania’s nude photos continue to resurface on social media. They are oftentimes uploaded alongside the rude comments being thrown at the FLOTUS.
