Melania Trump recently sparked fury for uploading old photos from her previous visit to the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
In her Twitter post, the FLOTUS shared snaps of herself hanging out with the adorable kids confined at the hospital. She also revealed that the photos were taken two years ago.
“1/2: Two years ago, I visited and observed the great work @CincyChildrens is doing for babies born w/ NAS. I comment @NIH & @HHS for recognizing & rewarding their impactful work,” she wrote.
However, the post sparked fury among the first lady’s followers because uploading photos from two years ago meant she didn’t visit the hospital recently. This led the FLOTUS’s critics to say that Donald Trump’s wife is lazy.
“2 years ago? It’s pretty telling that Melania Trump is sharing something from 2 years ago. What has she done lately?” Twitter user @JustElegant1 said.
“Well done… Two years ago,” Twitter user @LynottPhillip said.
Meanwhile, some netizens also took this as an opportunity to remind Melania of all of the kids that are still in cages who she has not helped.
“What about the children your husband has locked up in cages? Do something good for once and help them,” Twitter user @SherriPrescott wrote.
“And now your husband is taking away food stamps from the kids who need it the most,” Twitter user @Ford_Dude6 said.
“But yet you close your eyes on every child your husband detained… Yeah,” Twitter user @Imrovgeil said.
“Now, about those kids in cages Mel. #BeBest,” Twitter user @barty1252 said.
“What about the ones you caged up like animals? Will you visit them or are you hoping they just suffer?” Twitter user @martinaL70 said.
And when the FLOTUS called Trump’s administration an example of leadership with regards to tackling the nation’s drug epidemic, more critics slams Melania.
“You’ve got to be kidding,” Twitter user @subvoyeur said.
“Perhaps you start at home with your hubby, dear. His addiction is starting to show,” Twitter user @runnergryl said.
