The Leadership Awards recognize “outstanding companies and individuals who have demonstrated noteworthy efforts in the areas of governance, risk and compliance, and underscore the role that corporate governance plays in dictating a company’s success and a board’s contribution to long term value,” according to NYSE Governance Services.
The Best In-House Legal Team at a Small to Mid-Cap Company award recognizes legal teams that have met legal, ethical, and compliance challenges with the utmost integrity and know-how. The Distinguished General Counsel award recognizes noted achievements made by an inside counsel who has served a company during the last five years. “We’re honored to be recognized in two categories for our efforts to institute and manage policies and programs that have increased corporate transparency and accountability to shareholders, regulators and customers. We congratulate Jay and his team for their good work and are grateful for this independent validation of the high quality of our team’s efforts,” said Dennis W. Doll, President and CEO.
