This speculation was somewhat amplified because of the “Wrecking Ball” singer didn’t immediately give an explanation for the incident.
And given the rocky start of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s relationship, many assume that this was indeed the case. However, weeks after stories were published that the two have once again split, the “The Climb” singer broke her silence and revealed that the reason behind her actions was because she simply wanted to get away from social media for a while.
It’s already been proven that consistently engaging in social media is detrimental to one’s physical and mental health as people are constantly exposed to negative aspects of the world. And since publications are writing more pessimistic news rather than uplifting ones, the toxicity of social media is intensified.
