Mitsubishi Electric Corporation and HACARUS Corporation have announced they are expanding their collaboration in developing AI-based visual inspection applications for the manufacturing industry. Both companies will leverage their resources and technologies in a strategic partnership to maximize mutual potential.
Mitsubishi Electric's Equity Stake in HACARUS Sets Foundation for Success
As part of the agreement, Mitsubishi Electric said in a company press release that it will take an equity stake in HACARUS, further solidifying the collaboration. This move will provide HACARUS access to Mitsubishi Electric's extensive sales infrastructure in Japan and overseas, strengthening its market presence.
As per a BusinessWire press release, leveraging HACARUS' expertise, Mitsubishi Electric expects to accelerate the development and provision of integrated and automated AI-based visual inspection solutions. These solutions aim to improve manufacturing quality and overall productivity for customers. Automating visual inspection processes will address labor shortages and support the growing need for efficiency.
