‘Modern Family’ season 8’s episode 20, titled “All Things Being Equal,” will follow the Pritchetts as they support the women’s movement. Despite sharing the same commitment, it seems that each member has a different idea of how to share their support. Meanwhile, Cam gets increasingly jealous when Pam favors Mitch in caring for her baby.
The lengthy synopsis for “All Things Being Equal” posted on TV Guide reads, “Support for gender equality and the women's movement is displayed by various members of the Pritchett clan, but each has vastly different ways of showing their commitment.
Meanwhile, Jay (Ed O’Neill) and Phil (Ty Burrell) can't agree on their parking-lot attendant's duties; and Cam (Eric Stonestreet) is shocked when Pam (guest star Dana Powell) prefers Mitch's (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) help raising her baby.”
The upcoming episode will be an interesting one for the members of the blended Pritchett-Dunphy family as they work to support gender equality as well as the women’s movement. Despite their commitment to the cause, the women – together with Luke (Nolan Gould) and Manny (Rico Rodriguez) – all have different ways of showing their support.
In the promotional photographs posted on Spoilers Guide, Luke and Manny are seen attending what looks to be a rally for women’s rights. They look to be observing the activities while bringing some placards. It will be interesting to see how the teenagers will show their support for the cause.
Meanwhile, some rivalry will ensue at Cam and Mitch’s household when Cam’s sister, Pam, openly prefers Mitch’s help in caring for her baby. In the previous episode, titled "Frank's Wedding," Cam grew more aggravated with his sister while Mitch showed uncharacteristic warmth towards her. Pam eventually went into labor and gave birth to a baby boy, which led to her extended stay at Cam and Mitch’s house.
‘Modern Family’ season 8’s episode 20, titled “All Things Being Equal,” is scheduled to air on ABC on May 3, 2017. It was directed by Michelle MacLaren and written by Christy Stratton & Ryan Walls. It will be followed by episode 21, titled “Alone Time,” scheduled to be released on May 10 and directed by Jim Hensz.
