‘Modern Family’ season 8’s episode 7, entitled "Thanksgiving Jamboree", will feature Cam and Mitch hosting the year’s holiday dinner. Meanwhile, Hayley will ditch the family football game to spend time with her new boyfriend.
The synopsis for “Thanksgiving Jamboree” posted on Seat42F stated, “It’s going to be a Thanksgiving jamboree at the Pritchett-Tucker home this year, and Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) has spared no expense.
While Phil (Ty Burrell) tries to get used to Rainer Shine (Nathan Fillion) dating his daughter, Hayley (Sarah Hyland) has to break it to her dad that she would rather spend the rest of her holiday with her new boyfriend than staying for the traditional family football game.
Meanwhile, Jay (Ed O’Neill) has to figure out a way to keep his blood pressure down on one of the most stressful days of the year, as Gloria (Sofia Vergara) tries to show Joe that animals are our friends.
Finally, Alex (Ariel Winter) and Dwight (Winston Duke) get to know each other a little better than her Uncle Cam would like, while Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) has to stop clowning around and tell Cam the truth.”
In the incoming episode, Mitchell and Cam host Thanksgiving dinner with Cam sparing no expense. It seems that things are bound to get silly as the holidays are fast approaching. It would also be interesting to see Phil’s reaction as his eldest daughter Hayley reveals that she would rather spend time with her new boyfriend than join in the family’s traditional football game.
According to International Business Times, the eldest Dunphy child may be putting more focus on her career this season but it seems that she will be taking the time off from her entrepreneurial dreams to have some fun with her otherwise unsteady romantic life. In season 7, Haley and boyfriend Andy (Adam DeVine) had to break up since Haley didn’t want to be a hindrance to Andy’s dreams.
‘Modern Family’ season 8’s episode 7, entitled "Thanksgiving Jamboree", is scheduled to air on ABC on November 16, 2016. It was directed by Steven Levitan and written by Jon Pollack and Chuck Tatham.
