The Motorola Razr 2020 is almost here, and T-Mobile appears to have one of the best offers that could get its customers up to 50% discount. It is also worth noting that the upcoming smartphone will have a number of specs upgrade other than the addition of 5G.
Motorola Razr 2020 discount, release date
With the release of Motorola Razr 2020 just a few days away, T-Mobile launched a special offer to anyone wanting to buy the foldable smartphone. Its regular price is $1,399.99, but the carrier is offering up to $700 discount.
The Motorola Razr 2020 promo is only applicable for customers who will apply for a new line and get the device. To get the full $700 discount, they also have to trade-in qualified devices. The list includes Apple iPhone 8 to iPhone 11 (iPhone SE not listed); all devices released under the Samsung Galaxy S9, Note 9, S10, and Note 10 series; Google Pixel 3 and 4 series; OnePlus 7T, 7T Pro McLaren, OnePlus 8, and OnePlus 8 Pro; and LG V60 ThinQ.
Any of the devices have to be “in good condition” to be eligible for the trade-in. T-Mobile will also offer the Motorola Razr 2020 for a one-time full payment or a 24-month installment plan for the regular price. The smartphone will be available in stores starting Oct. 2.
Motorola Razr 2020 specs: What has been improved?
The Motorola Razr 2020 has a 6.2” foldable P-OLEd display, which is almost identical to its same name predecessor released last year. The secondary screen that is put to use when the device is folded also remains in the same specs with 600 x 800 resolution, 2.7” display, and G-OLED panel.
However, the Motorola Razr 2020 will come with an improved performance through the Snapdragon 765G that also makes the 5G network possible. The standard storage option and RAM have been increased to 256GB and 8GB from 128GB and 6GB, respectively.
Motorola Razr 2020 will not have a multi-lens camera system on either side, but its cameras saw huge improvements as well with 48MP as the main sensor and 20MP for selfies. It used to be 16MP and 5MP, respectively. Another upgrade lies in its battery as it now packs 2,800mAh power while its predecessor only had 2,510mAh.
