In the piece Nadia describes her move to New York from Kampala, Uganda, to start college at Pace University and recounts her harrowing adventures in the Big Apple.

MFA candidate Kevin P. Keating was recently awarded the Cleveland Arts Prize, the oldest award of its kind in the United States and a testament to the standard of excellence and quality of artists in Northeast Ohio. Previous recipients include Toni Morrison, Rita Dove, and Harvey Pekar.
